Overview of Publications

Correlogic has published landmark papers using the KDE that demonstrate:

  • cancer can be diagnosed by patterns in mass spectrometry profiles of serum [13]
  • this includes the identification of informative patterns in high resolution mass spectrometric data that may lead to diagnostic tests for ovarian, prostate, breast, and pancreatic cancer [4, 7, 8, 11, 12]
  • the identification of patterns gauging the state of remission in Wegener's granulomatosis [6]
  • the identification of patterns distinguishing metastatic from benign pheochromocytoma [5]
  • the discrimination between preinvasive and invasive ductal pancreatic cancer and its early detection in the mouse [10]
  • pattern recognition for toxicogenomics of drug induced cardiac toxicities and cardioprotection [9]
  • the species-specific detection of bacillus spores [2]
  • the species-specific detection of bacteria [3]
